My boyfriend’s family are amazing, and for our birthday present this year, they got us a weekend trip to Victoria B.C! Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia, and it’s an absolutely beautiful city. There are so many gorgeous old historic buildings, churches, castles etc.. it reminded me quite a bit of England, which I loved.

We spent two nights in Victoria, at the incredible Parkside Hotel, which was only two blocks away from the Parliament Buildings. We did so many fun things while we were there, and we left wanting to come back ASAP. The tour we did of the Craigdarroch Castle was my absolute favorite thing. The castle looms over the city, and reminded me SO much of Edward Scissorhand’s castle/ the Beetlejuice mansion. We got to walk around the entire thing, and I felt like I was living in an episode of Downtown Abbey, it was wild.

We also got the chance to catch up with my Aunt and Uncle, who live in Victoria. They took us to Willow’s beach, right by their house.. and it was the windiest, most perfect day.
