Our Engagement Party

Hi Guys!

Last Sunday, my amazing Mom hosted the most wonderful Engagement Party for us. This was the first time our two families would be meeting, and it was such a long time coming! I can’t believe it’s taken us over 4 YEARS to get everyone together. It’s so funny, everyone already felt like they knew each other.. because of social media & so many stories etc.

To say our two families got along, would be the understatement of the year. Everyone LOVED each other, and we all blended together so perfectly. It was so natural, and I have never been so happy. I love Ryan’s family so much, and it was so special to have everyone on my side of the family.. finally get to meet our two little nephew’s & my incredible second family <3

My Mom & my spectacular Maid of Honor (Sister) Paige, set up so many beautiful decorations… and organized the “Shoe Game” for us all to play! It was so much fun, and it was so hilarious to see everyone guess the answers. The “Shoe Game” is basically, where the couple sits back-to-back, and each of them holds two shoes.. their shoe & their partner’s shoe. The Host will ask questions, like “Who is the Better Cook ?”, “Who Said I Love You First?”.. and everyone will answer, by holding up the “his” or “hers” shoe! The couple answer’s what THEY think the answer is, and it’s sooo funny to watch. Let’s just say, when the question “Who is the better cook?”, literally EVERYONE in the room lifted Ryan’s shoe, haha! It’s so true though.. I am a truly awful cook. Unless you like a lovely meal of chicken strips & hot-sauce. (You know you do).
