And.. just like that it’s Julia’s Wedding Day!! We woke up in a flurry of nerves and excitement, and headed over to Julia’s Mom’s house in West Vancouver. As soon as we arrived, her Mom and Dad cooked us a delicious Breakfast, and then the Makeup and Hair team arrived. It was a whirlwind, of fake eyelashes, curling irons and nerves!
Julia gave us the most beautiful Bridesmaid gifts in the world. She bought each of us a beautiful silk robe, embroidered with our names… as well as a stunning rose gold Tiffany bracelet. We were so blown away.
After that it was time to get dressed. Lindsey, Allison and I, got into our beautiful blush pink dresses, and then it was time for the main event… getting to see Julia in her Wedding Dress. Words can’t express how absolutely breathtaking she looked. We were speechless. She came down the stairs, and her Dad was waiting at the base of the staircase. The moment he saw her had us all in tears.
We then took some photos, and headed in the Limo to the Capilano Golf and Country Club. All the guests had already been led down to the Golf Course ceremony site, and we got to ride in little golf carts right up to where the set up was. It was so much fun. I had to walk down the aisle first, and I was SO nervous I could hardly breathe. Everyone told me to walk SLOWER than I think I should be walking… and within a blink, off I went.
After that it all went by in an amazing blur. The rest of the Wedding was absolutely perfect. The food was spectacular, the live band was SO good, and the Portrait’s done by The Collective You were a huge hit. Every detail was perfectly executed. There was so much love in that room, and so many tearful moments. It was one of the biggest honors of my entire life, to get to stand by Julia’s side, as she married the love of her life (and one of the best people I’ve ever met) Andy. I love you guys.
