“You can see us without the sheets?
Of course I can see you.
Well, how is it you see us and nobody else can?
Well, I’ve read through that handbook for the recently deceased. It says: ‘live people ignore the strange and unusual”. I myself am strange and unusual.
You look like a regular girl to me.”
Halloween Time is HERE, and this weekend has been full of wild spooky events.
For my first Halloween Look…. I went with one of my all-time fav fictional characters, Lydia Deetz. Lydia is an iconic character from the classic Tim Burton movie “Beetlejuice” (1988). She is played by Winona Ryder, and she’s the greatest character ever. She’s dark, moody, gothic, and just my teen idol. When I dyed my hair dark a few weeks ago.. I knew I HAD to be Lydia for Halloween. I didn’t even need to really buy a costume.. I already owned the Vintage camera, and the big floppy hat. I have really short bangs already… and all I really had left to find was the “Handbook for the Recently Deceased”, which I easily found on Amazon! I was all set.
I’ll attach some photos of my best attempt at impersonating the iconic Lydia.
Happy Halloween Weekend Everyone!
See you tomorrow with Halloween Look #2!
xo,
Carly
