The Cutest Summer “Midi” Skirt

It’s Officially Summertime, and I couldn’t be more excited. The weather outside is getting so beautiful, and it’s the perfect time to bust out all my new little Summer outfits! I’ve been buying tons of cute pieces, and I’ve just been waiting desperately until the weather is nice enough to roll around Downtown in them!

Every Spring/Summer Season I always see tons of Blog Posts/Instagram Ad’s & Style Section pieces dedicated to the “Midi Skirt”. I have always been sort of confused on what the hell a “midi” was, and so I decided to Google it. The official Google Definition turned up as……

(“As its title suggests, a midi skirt is a skirt with a length that’s in between that of a mini skirt and a maxi skirt. The hem of most midi skirts falls midway down your calf, somewhere between your knee and your ankle.”)

Anyways, the other day I was at H&M and this stunning little “Midi-Skirt” was CALLING to me. It’s one of the most gorgeous things I’ve ever seen for sale at H&M, and it was very reasonable. I’ve seen almost exactly the same skirt at Club Monaco, for triple the price! The print of this skirt is so beautiful, and it reminds me of a painting. It has the most comfortable waistband, while also being incredibly flattering & easy to wear. It swings around so delicately, and feels so flirty. The pleated look is very chic. I fell in love with this skirt the second I put it on. I think I will be wearing this ALL Summer long. You can easily dress this up, or dress this down for a more casual look. Just add high-heels, or go the opposite way and throw on sneakers and a jean-jacket. So obsessed with this piece!
