I have been wanting to get a tattoo of “The Deathly Hallows” symbol for a few years now, but I just couldn’t seem to pull the trigger. Last Fall when I went to London, and to see the “Warner Bros Studio: Harry Potter Tour”, I felt very disappointed in myself that I didn’t have this tattoo, and knew I needed it immediately, haha! Every “Harry Potter” fan knows what a big deal the Deathly Hallows are, and the little simple symbol has become something of a badge, that the die hard fans all get tattooed on themselves. It’s almost like an invitation to discuss your love of the series, etc etc. I see this tattoo on so many people, and it ALWAYS sparks a conversation between fellow fans. So basically I desperately needed to get on board with this, and I finally found a little spot I thought would be perfect… and off I went. Thankfully I had my Sister by my side to Snap-Chat the whole adventure, and to capture some shots, thanks Paige! I’m so happy with how it turned out, simple and perfect.
“The symbol of the Deathly Hallows. The vertical line represents the Elder Wand; the circle, the Resurrection Stone; and the triangle, the Cloak of Invisibility. Death, a cunning liar, then pretended to congratulate them on being clever enough to evade him, and offered each of them a powerful magical item.”– From Harry Potter Wikia
There is nothing Dark about the Hallows– at least, not in that crude sense. One simply uses the symbol to reveal oneself to other believers, in the hope that they might help with the Quest.”—Xenophilius Lovegood explaining the Sign of the Deathly Hallows
